Plastic bag use continues to fall in England

People are on average using 115 fewer bags each year since the plastic bag charge was introduced in England

According to the figures published on 21 July, large retailers that are subject to the rules sold 2.1 billion single-use plastic carrier bags between April 2016 and April 2017.
