Met Office predicts record-breaking rainfall in England and Wales

There is a one-in-three chance that England and Wales will set new monthly rainfall records each winter, according to the Met Office

The Met Office used a new supercomputer to simulate thousands of possible winters to quantify the risk of extreme rainfall within the current climate.
