Household waste recycling rate up in Scotland

A modest increase in Scotland’s household recycling has been cautiously welcomed while a report produced on the same day highlights the importance of domestic rates

The figures, published on 26 September, show that last year, the household waste recycling rate was 45.2%, a 1 percentage point increase on the 44.2% recorded in 2015.
