Waverley confirms air quality data error

A local council in Surrey admits miscalculating nitrogen dioxide concentrations in 2015 and 2016

Waverley Borough Council has admitted publishing incorrect air quality data.

On 27 September, the authority in south-west Surrey revealed that an independent report had confirmed that most of 2016’s figures had been calculated erroneously. It follows the withdrawal of its report covering 2015 in August for the same reason.
