The botched £6.2bn Magnox nuclear clean-up deal has revealed “fundamental failures” in the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority's (NDA) understanding of the procurement process, the National Audit Office has concluded.
The spending watchdog published a damning report on 11 October following the launch of the Magnox Inquiry in March this year, headed by the former National Grid chief executive Steve Holliday.
