ECHA lines up 16 new chemicals for safety review

The UK will not assess any new substances under the EU work programme for chemical assessment, due to Brexit

Photograph: Martin Polak/123RFThe European Chemicals Agency has added 16 new items to its rolling list of substances to be evaluated for toxicity by member states over the coming three years, in its next community rolling action plan (CoRAP). It will replace the previous one adopted in March.
