Regulator wants network operators’ financial accounts made more transparent

Ofgem has called for standardisation and simplification for operators’ price control framework as second consultation launches

Ofgem published a consultation on 9 November, a follow-on from a 2015 consultation, seeking a catch-all financial accounting model for gas and electricity network operators. It aims to create more transparency and will for the first time make the accounts available to public scrutiny.
