Around 10% of historic coastal and estuarine landfills around England are at risk of eroding and releasing solid waste into the sea, according to a new study

One in ten of England’s historic coastal landfills are at risk of releasing waste into the sea, according to a new study.

The study, led by Dr Kate Spencer at Queen Mary University of London, was published in the journal Wiley Interdisciplinary Reviews: Water on 16 November. 1
