The Wildlife Trusts appoints new chair

The charity says Foxall, whose background includes governing an NHS foundation trust, is the right person to lead it for the next five years

Foxall, who will be the seventeenth chair of the Trusts, started her role on 22 November.

A biomedical scientist by training, with a PhD in biological chemistry, Foxall is also lead governor of an NHS Foundation Trust and was professor and director of postgraduate programmes at the University of Exeter Medical School, chairing its research ethics committee.
