EA introduces temporary measures on wood classification

Wood recyclers now have a year’s grace period in which to come up with a code of practice to ensure waste wood is being recycled properly

The agency published a Regulatory Position Statement (RPS) on 28 November, setting out the conditions whereby treated waste wood can be classified as non-hazardous.
