Yorkshire Water fined as it reveals performance improvement plan

The water utility has been fined following a discharge of raw sewage that killed hundreds of fish but has ambitious plans to avoid future incidents

Yorkshire Water was also ordered to pay almost £25,000 in costs on 27 November, after it pleaded guilty to breaching its environmental permit conditions at Sheffield Crown Court.
