Brexit could see more waste go to landfill, peers warn minister

A Lords committee has warned that more waste could be sent to landfill if Brexit makes it more difficult and more costly to export waste

The House of Lords EU Energy and Environment Sub-Committee letter, dated 30 November, follows an evidence session with industry experts which examined the potential impact of Brexit on the UK’s trade in waste.
