EA expands permitting for extraction and storage at oil and gas wells

The Environment Agency has put in place two extra standard rule permits for management of extractive waste and oil storage during oil and gas well testing

The new permits, published on 24 February, are the latest step in building a regulatory framework for these activities. The EA consulted on the draft rules last year.
