Government announces £80m for national colleges

The governments wants to ensure the UK has ahighly technical and skilled workforce to support growth in high-speed rail, nuclear, onshore oil and gas, digital and creative industries

The government has announced details of £80m in funding to support five new national colleges.

The colleges, which were confirmed in the spending review, are being set up to ensure the UK has enough skilled people to support the growth areas of high-speed rail, nuclear, onshore oil and gas, digital skills and the creative industries.
