Landowner gets electronic tag for waste offences

Woodcock ignored repeated orders to clear the waste. Photograph: Environment AgencyA Kent landowner has been given a 7pm-7am curfew after pleading guilty to illegal depositing, sorting and storing waste at a site in Sittingbourne.

Paul Woodcock was given a four-month suspended sentence at Medway Magistrates Court on 10 October. He also received an electronically monitored home detention curfew and was ordered to pay £2,300 in costs.
