Views sought on marine protection for birds

Four proposals to create or extend special protection areas for marine birds have opened for consultation and views are being sought on marine assessments

The body published proposals on 18 and 25 October on the protection feeding waters used by protected birds in the Solway Firth area, the Dungeness, Romney Marsh and Rye Bay area, the Greater Wash and the Solent and Dorset coast.
