Canterbury waste criminals fined for illegal wood disposal

Two men who put road users at risk by illegally burning wood next to a busy road have pleaded guilty to waste offences

Ky Campion, director of the waste firm East Kent Recycling, pleaded guilty in a personal capacity to depositing waste wood without an environmental permit. He was fined £2,150 with £750 costs at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on 26 October.
