Circular economy to be taught in International Baccalaureate curriculum

The circular economy could soon be taught in classrooms across the world, after the IB and Ellen MacArthur Foundation joined forces earlier this month

Dame Ellen MacArthur and IB director general, Dr Siva KumariThe International Baccalaureate (IB) has announced it is to embed systems thinking and a circular economy perspective into its curriculum.

Working in partnership with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the non-profit educational foundation said it would provide teachers and students with classroom resources which link circular economy and systems thinking to students’ curriculum learning.
