UK’s renewables investment attractiveness hits new low

The UK is becoming even less appealing for investment in renewable energy, says EY, although battery storage could provide a boost

The UK has fallen to an all-time low in EY’s renewable energy country attractiveness index, the consultancy announced on 26 October. At fourteenth place, down from thirteenth in the spring, the country has now fallen behind Morocco. Brazil and Mexico are also far above it in the rankings.
