Details of next £290m CfD auction revealed

BEIS has explained who will be eligible for its second contracts for difference auction next year, focusing on offshore wind and other less established technologies

Announcing the auction on 9 November, BEIS said up to £290m would be available annually in ‘Pot 2’ for 15-year projects starting to generate electricity from 2021/22 or 2022/23.
