Offshore oil and gas environmental regulation fees outlined

A new fee to enable BEIS to recover the costs of regulating the offshore oil and gas industry has been set in line with the ‘polluter pays’ principle

Details of how BEIS will recover costs for regulating the industry were laid before parliament on 3 November and come into effect on 1 December.
