Northern Ireland deviates from England and Wales on Aarhus cost rules

Proposed changes to environmental litigation cost rules in Northern Ireland have been diluted in response to concerns from consultation respondents

On 27 September, the Northern Ireland Ministry of Justice outlined its response to a consultation, held over the winter, which was largely the same as one run by Westminster’s Ministry of Justice over the same period.
