Microplastics a major problem for farm soils, study shows

More microplastics are entering farm soils than are thought to be in the ocean, the consequences for the environment are unknown and regulation is lacking, according to new research

The revelations were set out in a study by the Norwegian Institute for Water Research, published in the journal Environmental Science and Technology in October.
