NRW relaunches waste standard rules consultation

Respondents to a consultation on standard permitting rules in Wales have had their deadline extended after NRW decided on a relaunch

Photograph: Valerii Kirsanov/123RFNatural Resources Wales (NRW) has withdrawn its consultation on proposed changes to standard waste rulesĀ and replaced it with an almost identical one to avoid legal issues.

The original consultation, which was published on 1 August, proposed changes involving asbestos handling, metals and household packaging recycling, fire prevention plans and the use of waste for recovery operations.
