Davey seeks to ‘change the debate’ around regulation

Former energy secretary Ed Davey says government must be challenged to understand the case for regulation, which has become a “nasty word”

The former energy secretary, who now chairs community energy firm Mongoose, said regulation had become a “nasty word” and a politics that sees it as simply negative “is a politics of system that’s got rotten... It’s really important that we change the debate.”
