Separate waste collection could save Welsh councils millions

More research has surfaced indicating that separate collection is the most cost-effective way of recycling household waste

The report, commissioned by the Welsh government and published on 7 December, found councils could save between £900,000 and £1,200,000 a year by switching from a comingled to a source-separated collection system.
