DEFRA steps up recruitment drive amid Brexit staffing fears

The environment department has begun recruiting heavily as more reports emerge that it is one of the most under-resourced departments but also vital for a “successful EU exit”

Posts recently advertised include five deputy directors and 30 policy advisors whose responsibilities will include ensuring “EU environmental legislation is integrated into UK law on exit”.
