Plans for microbead phase-out by 2018

A consultation on removing microplastics from cosmetics and personal care products has begun, with phase out proposed from 2017

DEFRA announced on 20 December that it was keen to hear views from the business industry and NGOs concerned with the impact of the tiny plastics on the marine environment.
