Environment Agency publishes WFD guidance for estuarine and coastal waters

The Environment Agency has published WFD guidance for estuarine and coastal waters alongside a list of priority substances and other polluting chemicals

The Environment Agency (EA) has published guidance for activities in estuarine and coastal waters in England.

The document, published on 15 December, is relevant up to one nautical mile out to sea and helps applicants conduct a Water Framework Directive (WFD) assessment which must form part of any application in these areas.
