Natural England calls for voluntary redundancies as budget slashed 10%

The body tasked with conserving England’s natural environment has now seen DEFRA slash its funding by a third since 2010

The move could lead to job losses at the body, which is tasked with protecting and improving the natural environment and also delivers the agri-environment part of the government’s rural development programme.
