Two men and a skip hire firm have been given prison sentences and fines for their part in an illegal waste operation that created a major pest problem in the West Midlands.

Ranbir Singh, Reginald Baldwin and Langley Skip Hire (Midlands) Ltd were sentenced at Wolverhampton crown court on 14 January for illegally storing waste in Oldbury. A fourth defendant, Balwant Singh Bagrhia, is due to be sentenced in February. All pleaded guilty at earlier hearings in 2013.
