Pickles savages bin barons over fortnightly waste collections

Eric Pickles has issued new guidance for councils on the collection of household residual waste and attacked “barmy bin” policies

The department has sent new collection guidance, known as a ‘bin bible’, to every council in England in what it says is a direct challenge to the “fortnightly bin industry”.1
