Truss comes out in favour of GM

Environment secretary Liz Truss has announced her support for the cultivation of genetically modified crops in the UK

Speaking at the Oxford Farming Conference last week, Truss said it was important that “we win the argument about GM and are able to use those products to help improve our productivity, our yields and our resilience”.
