Sellafield nuclear waste management to be nationalised

Nuclear Management Partners has lost its £22bn contract to clean up nuclear waste at Sellafield over safety and cost concerns

Announcing the decision on 13 January, DECC said the NDA had concluded that “simplifying the relationship between the NDA and Sellafield Ltd will bring greater clarity and focus on achieving progress and value for money”.
