Three jail sentences in a week for waste offences

Three separate cases of non-compliance with waste management regulations were heard this week, ending in jail sentences of up to 18 months

In the most recent case, Alfred Booy of Berkeley, Gloucestershire, was sentenced to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to three waste and permitting offences.
