Fire-hit Averies Recycling goes into administration

A recycling firm whose site was ablaze for two months last year has gone into administration, but is still liable for cleaning up a large pile of waste

The fire, which burned up to 10,000 tonnes of waste from July until September 2014, was at the company's Marshgate waste transfer depot in Swindon. It had been in operation since 2008.
