DEFRA defers further waste policymaking until EU agreement

The government has responded to a critical report on waste leadership and management in England by committing not to introduce any new policies

In its response to the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) committee’s critical report of waste management in England the government denied that it had “stepped back” from policy and said it “continues to be a key priority”.1
