Diageo sets new targets after 2015 miss

Diageo has not met its target of reducing CO2 emissions by 50% by 2015, but has set out new 2020 targets on water, carbon and waste

Drinks firm Diageo has set itself a number of new ambitious environmental goals despite admitting it will not meet its target to reduce absolute carbon emissions by 50% by 2015.

ENDS reported in August that the company faced an uphill battle in meeting the target after it was revealed it had reduced its total carbon emissions by just 30% since 2007 (endsreport.com/45051).
