Twelve London hotspots breach air pollution limits

Twelve London streets have breached hourly legal limits for nitrogen dioxide this year, while just two London boroughs stayed within limits in 2013

The Hanger Lane gyratory in Ealing, Euston Road and Holborn in Camden, Beech Street and Walbrook Wharf in the City, Oxford Street, Marylebone Road and the Strand in Westminster, Knightsbridge and Earls Court Road in Kensington,  Putney High Street in Wandsworth and Brixton Road in Lambeth are all polluted beyond European limits.
