The export of refuse-derived fuel (RDF) might be reaching a plateau as prices close in on landfill, research by the Environment Agency (EA) has suggested.

In its first in-depth study of the market published on 6 July, the EA examines the drivers behind the rapid expansion of the RDF market in the past five years and its possible future trends.
