EA warned against removing small water bodies from river improvement plans

The Environment Agency is being urged to consider the crucial role of small water bodies in the next round of river basin management plans

The comments were given in response to the EA’s consultation on its draft plans which ran from October 2014 to April 2015. Respondents included environment managers, NGOs, local authorities and utility companies.
