Study finds EfW has little impact on air quality

A publicly funded study of six UK energy-from-waste plants has concluded their contribution to air pollution is minimal, but more research is needed to determine possible health risks

But it did find traces of heavy metals concentration in the air within 10km of two major incinerators, although for a limited period of time and in limited quantities.
