DECC is seeking views from onshore wind developers affected by forthcoming subsidy cuts.

The government wants to close the Renewables Obligation (RO) to new onshore wind farms from 1 April 2016 – a year early than initially planned (endsreport.com/48710).1

DECC estimates that the changes will take 250 onshore wind projects, with a total of about 7.1GW capacity, out of the pipeline (endsreport.com/48710).
