Two men and two companies have been ordered to pay more than £50,000 in a case where thousands of tonnes of illegal waste was dumped at an Oxfordshire mushroom farm.

In 2012, Environment Agency (EA) officers found 3,000 tonnes of trommel fines, which can contain contaminants such as gypsum, illegally deposited at Elmwood Farm near Bampton.

The site, owned by Aylesbury Mushrooms (Farms) Ltd, did not have an environmental permit.
