‘Death knell’ for zero-carbon homes

Measures to make new homes zero-carbon by 2016 have been dropped as part of the chancellor’s productivity drive

The decision was included in a Treasury report setting out a string of measures intended to boost the UK’s productivity as part of the chancellor’s Summer Budget (see p5).1
