Climate bonds surge 20% to almost $600bn

The climate bond market has seen a meteoric rise over the last year, dominated by low-carbon transport, but only a fraction is made up of labelled green bonds

According to the Climate Bonds Initiative’s (CBI) latest annual report, the market’s total value now stands at $597.7bn (£382.88bn), a rise of $95bn since 2014.1
