Sustainable forestry possesses lucrative potential, says research

Cost-benefit analysis shows certified forestry makes economic sense, while financial institutions have been warned of deforestation investment risks.

According to a WWF cost-benefit analysis published in August, forest operators can save a significant amount of money by signing up to Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification.1
