Government shackles civil sanctions for SMEs

The business department is to limit the use of civil sanctions to larger companies with more than 250 employees

The news came in a written statement by business and enterprise minister Michael Fallon on Thursday 8 November. But it was also echoed by Cabinet Office minister Oliver Letwin speaking the same day at a conference hosted by University College London and the UK Environmental Law Association.
