Whitehall makes progress on greening computer systems

The Department for Work and Pensions leads government departments on greener computer systems while the MoD brings up the rear, according to data obtained by ENDS

Whitehall has made good progress installing more energy efficient computer systems, according to a report on implementing the government's information and communications technology (ICT) strategy.

Launched in 2011, the strategy aims to cut carbon emissions and waste from ICT used in government departments.
