A man has been ordered to do unpaid work for storing waste on his land without an appropriate environmental permit

An illegal waste operator has been ordered to undertake 240 hours of unpaid work.

Nicholas Frank Puddy, of Ullenwood, Cheltenham, pleaded guilty at Cheltenham magistrates court on 13 August to operating a regulated facility without an environmental permit.

For breaching regulations 12(1) and 38 of the Environmental Permitting (England & Wales) Regulations 2010, Puddy was given a 12-month community order amounting to 240 hou
